I have been in and around the car industry / community my entire life through my father's career, as well as with good friends and their jobs / hobbies. I have been coming to the Burg for a while now, they have been servicing my 2014 ford escape and have also helped with my 2018 Camaro while I was looking for a performance shop to build that car. I cannot praise this shop enough, I recently bought a 2025 jeep and had a few free services at a dealership, I can't wait to bring this to the Burg, (not that the dealer is bad in anyway but they don't bring the same energy or listen as well to their customers.) The burg Automotive is the only place in St. Petersburg for all auto needs I refer to, they are friendly, will work with you, and have great customer service as well as great mechanics working on the vehicles in the bays. If you are shopping around you would be doing yourself a disservice if you do not at least give this shop a call. 10/10.

I ended up not taking my truck here after determining it was my issue and could resolve it. But I had to write a review on the service advisor who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It’s been a long time since I’ve had service like that at a dealership and felt empowered to write a review. Would recommend trying them out for your service needs.

I hate to say it, but The Burg in St. Pete ripped me off even though they seem like good people. See photos & videos for an eyewitness account. I took my car in to fix a cylinder-3 misfire, and they charged me $500 just to take apart the intake manifold w/o repairs! I had a local mechanic do this for free in like 30 minutes, and he’s the one who exposed this complete and total ripoff. More on that later in the review. After agreeing to terms with The Burg based on a guaranteed 36,000 mile warranty, they told me the cause of the cylinder-3 misfire was either carbon buildup ($1000+), faulty fuel injectors ($2000+), or aftermarket ignition coils and spark plugs ($1000+). All three of these jobs are extremely over-priced according to my local mechanic! And the after-market ignition coils and spark plugs turned out to be a TOTAL MYTH. The Mazda dealership told me over the phone that AutoZone coils and spark plugs would work just as well as Mazda OEM coils and spark plugs, and turns out the Mazda dealership was correct! Yet, The Burg insisted that after-market coils and plugs were the primary cause of the cylinder-3 misfire. Flash forward half a year later, the vehicle runs like butt

I had​ an outstanding experience at The B​urg Automotive! On my way to work, my tire pressure warning dropped to 7, and I was honestly stressed. I called ahead, and they told me to come right in—and I’m so glad I did. The team took care of me immediately. From the moment I arrived, the staff was respectful, kind, and genuinely courteous. They understood I was in a hurry and made sure my tire was handled quickly and professionally without cutting any corners. It’s not every day you find a place that combines efficiency with such great customer service. I really appreciate them taking the time to help me out when I needed it most. Highly recommend ​The Burg Automotive to anyone looking for fast, reliable, and friendly service!

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Honest, affordable, and trustworthy. I wanted to try supporting a local business rather than a dealership or chain. They are incredibly friendly, very professional and will explain everything, without selling unnecessary stuff. I got a lot of work done for literally half of what the dealer quoted and 2/3 of another repair shop. One of the brakes that they replaced had a manufacturer defect that was discovered two months later, and they replaced everything for free under their warranty. They even found damage that the preowned dealership had lied to me about. I cannot say enough about them. They are the gold standard for auto repair shops and mechanics. Best place I have ever taken my cars to since I started driving 25+ years ago.
